Amelia Love Johnson High School Counselor

Hello Mighty A.L. Johnson Eagles! I am Angela Ward, your School Counselor for grades K-12. I am thrilled to be a part of such an amazing and intellectual group of educators in the Marengo County School system. I want to ensure you that all students will receive the necessary skills to be productive and active members of our democratic society, possessing self-direction, a positive self-image, and an understanding of self and others.

Here are some of the services that I provide through my counseling program:

* Classroom Guidance Lessons

*Individual Counseling

*Consulting with teachers, administration, mental health professionals, post-secondary institutions, and others

* Assisting parents with referrals to community agencies

*Assisting in State Testing

* Serving on the RTI /Problem-Solving Committee

*Crisis Intervention
