I am thrilled to serve at the place where I began my educational journey. I am a 1985 graduate of this great institution…Amelia Love Johnson High School. Having served in education for 28 years, starting as a CTE classroom teacher, then moving on as the Technology Coordinator for Marengo County Schools and presently serving in my 4th year as principal here at Amelia Love Johnson High School.

I am currently married to my lovely wife Shalandra Martin. I have one daughter who is currently serving on the frontlines as a nurse in Northport , Alabama. My hobbies include working on my property, learning, and teaching financial concepts through a company called Primerica Financial Services (I’m currently studying to receive my Series 6 and 63 licenses in securities), spending time with my family, and being involved in our church.
